History of the Law School Consortium Project

The Law School Consortium Project (LSCP) was established in 1997 with grants from the Open Society Institute’s Program on Law & Society. With these grants, the LSCP supported the four founding member law schools to develop networks of and services for solo and small-firm practitioners who are committed to providing legal services to low and moderate-income individuals and communities. The founding member law schools are the City University of New York School of Law, Northeastern University Law School, the University of Maryland School of Law and St. Mary’s University School of Law.
